Site Design Update!

In a fit of boredom at midnight, I’ve decided to add rotating headers to Jackie Ruins the Cake! There are a total of 8 new headers — so far, at least. I might get bored again and start making more.

Half of them are photos that haven’t been used on the site — including a few for recipes I haven’t posted on here yet — so go ahead and refresh the page a bunch of times to look at them all! Or just click on different recipes, if you want.

Mad Men Treats

I don’t have to worry about this for another month or so, but I was thinking that I’d make some kind of awesome dessert for the Mad Men season finale in October. Only I’m not sure what kind of dessert I should make! I’d definitely want it to be themed towards Mad Men (i.e. not just some random cookies and cakes that have nothing to do with the show), but I’m stumped as to what I should make and how I should decorate it. Anybody got any tips?

(Keep in mind I have very, very limited decorating skills, so no crazy cakes with fondant)
